MIRI: SK St. Columba Miri was adjudged the best team and placed top in the `Inter Link Unit First Aid’ competition among primary schools here.
SJK (C) Chung Hua Sg Lumut came in second and SJK (C) Chung Hua Lutong, third. SK St Columba Miri also won the `Best Quiz Bee’ and `Best Bandaging Relay’ championship titles, while SJK (C) Chung Hua Lutong won in the `Best Traditional Based Team Test’ category.
The recent was organised by the Youth Link of Malaysian Red Crescent (MRC), Miri Chapter under organising chairman Nicholas Lim.
Ten schools took part in the event held at the chapter’s building at Jalan Bulan Sabit, Krokop here.
The schools were SK South, SK St. Columba Miri, SK Sayed Othman, SJK (C) Chung Hua Sg Lumut, SK Merbau, SJK (C) Chung Hua Lutong, SJK (C) Chung Hua Krokop, SK Lutong, SK Jalan Bintang and SK Temenggong Datuk Muip.
