The body of the deceased taken by police personnel to the hospital mortuary for post-mortem.
BINTULU: A 48-year-old man was found dead and believed to have hanged himself in his house at the government quarters here yesterday.
Police chief Superintendent Madang Usat, when contacted, confirmed the incident.
He said the deceased was a local man who left behind a wife and several children.
Without disclosing further details, Madang said the case was classified as sudden death.
It was said that the daughter of the deceased had found her father hanging from a ceiling fan in the living room around 2pm when she came back from school.
