KUCHING: If you plan to watch ‘The Journey’, it would be a good idea to queue up for its 8pm premier at MBO tHe Spring here tonight.
This is because the first 100 lucky movie goers will get to enjoy this movie for free. In addition, they will be given movie merchandises as well!
Movie goers can start queuing for the movie tickets from 7pm.
Apart from MBO tHe Spring, the movie will be shown at 10 cinemas nationwide, with the red carpet and gala premiere at Paradigm Mall, Petaling Jaya, on the same day and time.
It will be televised ‘live’ from Paradigm Mall through Astro AEC (Ch 301) and Astro Wah Lai Toi (Ch 311), plus a talk show featuring the director and the main casts.
Set for theatrical release on Jan 30, The Journey marks the completion of notable Malaysian director Chiu Keng Guan’s Astro Chinese New Year trilogy films, after the phenomenal success of Woohoo! (2010) and Great Day (2011).
It was presented by Astro Shaw and produced by Woohoo Pictures.
Other cinemas that will hold the movie premier are MBO KSL Mall (Johor), TGV Station 18 (Ipoh), GSC Gurney Plaza (Penang), GSC Aeon Bandaraya (Melaka), TGV Seremban 2 (Seremban), GSC East Coast Mall (Pahang), MBO Alor Star Mall (Kedah), GSC Suria KK (Sabah) and TGV Mesra Mall (Terengganu).
