MIRI: Taska Bintang Comel is now open daily from 7am to 5.30pm.
Principal Melissa Kong said the extension of the operating hours from March 1 aimed to provide greater convenience for busy parents.
She said self-employed parents who operate businesses on Sundays would find the daycare centre’s service useful.
Kong said Taska Bintang Comel is one of four daycare centres here registered with the Welfare Department.
She said children learn and play in a safe environment, as the centre also fully complies with the safety and health regulations set by the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) and Ministry of Health.
Taska Bintang Comel provides daycare services for children aged from two months old.
Parents can also opt for half-day services from 7am till 12.30pm or the full-day service from 7am till 5.30pm. The centre currently cares for around 30 children.
