SIBU: The 1964 Senior Middle Three students of SMK Methodist made donations to their alma mater recently and won praises from the current principal Yong Choo Tiong.
Yong, who was on hand to receive the donations, said all donations whether in cash or kind would go a long way to help the school progress.
He said the school appreciated the generous gesture of the former students shown as part of their home-coming.
Chairperson of the school’s old students association, Alice Wong, who witnessed the donation, urged former students to join the association if they have not done so.
She said membership with the association would facilitate future staging of activities for former school-mates.
