MIRI: Homelite Development Sdn Bhd (Homelite) yesterday held the official opening ceremony of its Homelite Eco Park condominium which was attended by many buyers who are eagerly waiting to call this place home.

In his welcoming address,   Homelite managing director Wong Su Chung said the opening of Homelite’s Eco Park marks a new bench mark of the concept where home is no longer a four-sided concrete wall but  an integration of building structure, infrastructure, facilities and environment.

To build a sustainable residential housing, maintaining more than 60 per cent of open area at an affordable price is indeed a very huge challenge, he said.

“We don’t do construction conventionally, instead, we make use of the natural terrain, add extra value into the development and provide the ideal living environment that everyone desires,” he added.

Wong, in his speech also mentioned that this is the first condominium project by Homelite and the company has achieved 100 per cent sales, for which he gave the credits  to his team.

Homelite Development was incorporated in 2004 and has been growing tremendously in the housing development industry for the past 10 years.

“We have completed 350 units of houses and we have 400 units of houses under construction now, and future projects worth RM700 million are under planning,” said Wong.

“This year, we target to complete another project, the Homelite Resort, and we will be having Lite View 4 and Airport Avenue under construction.

“Other than the Miri project, we are also undertaking the Kimanis Commercial at Kimanis, Sabah which consists of commercial  shop offices, corporate office blocks, a market square, a food court and an apartment,” he added.

“Our biggest achievement is creating value for customers, creating something good for the environment and something good for the country,” Wong noted.

Meanwhile, Homelite Management Corporation Sdn Bhd manager Wendy Lau in her speech said a lot of people have the concept that living in a condominium, one does not get to enjoy the surrounding land, but actually, the land around a condominium is bigger than  in landed property.

She also said the ‘One Owner One Fruit Tree’ programme aims to provide a healthier family time especially for the younger generation.

The fruit trees planted by owners of Homelite Eco Park condominium during the handing over ceremony yesterday will be taken care of by the individual owners, she said.

Homelite Eco Park condominium consists of 80 units, constructed on a huge green landscape and equipped with full range of facilities and services include a swimming pool, a gym, a jogging track, asocial meeting area, CCTVs, with a gated access and regular security patrolling.

The opening of the Homelite Eco Park condominium was signified by a tree planting ceremony yesterday morning by Wong together with two other Homelite directors Lim Siew Young and Kelvin Kiu.
