MIRI: New World Mart Sdn Bhd yesterday opened its first supermarket in Miri, featuring one of the largest cold storage for fresh produce in Sarawak.
Located in Lutong, it spans a floor area of 50,000 square feet which houses a host of food items, groceries and fresh produce.
Being a member of Destiny Group, New World Mart was established in 2007 by its founders Datuk Pui Kian Onn and Lau Hieng Ung.
Its maiden and second store are located in Parkcity Mall and Kidurong in Bintulu respectively.
“We strive to provide our customers with a comfortable shopping environment and fair prices, showcasing wide choices from local produce to imported items,” said Lau.
Strategically located at New Lutong Commercial Centre in front of Jun Rong departmental store and just a stone’s throw away from Myy Mall, the New World Mart is ideal to shop for daily needs under one big roof.
