Aunt of five siblings whose parents died in road crash regrets lies

SUNGKAI: The aunt  of  five siblings who lost their parents in a road accident   regrets  lies  that  she would send them to the  orphanage and grab all  the money donated.

Junaida  Mohd  Zain, 42, pleaded with those responsible to stop spreading lies via Facebook.

“We have feelings too, don’t say such things. The five siblings are our flesh  and blood and we will take care of them.

“Whatever happens, we won’t separate  them,” she  said  when  met in Kampung Rahmat, Changkat Sulaiman, here yesterday.

Junaida said the loss of her only brother was strongly felt as they were very close.

Another auntie, Zainah,44, reminded the public not to be fooled by those who ask for donation for the five siblings via Facebook.

“Those who want to make donation can contact me. Don’t be cheated by those who collect donation via Facebook,” she added.

Meanwhile, Muhd Haikal Jefri, 16, the eldest of the five siblings said that he often dreams of his dead parents.

“My sister who is also the youngest sometimes cries for my mother. She told me of seeing my mother and father here,” he added.

Jefri Mohd Zain,50, and wife Noorsalawati Ibrahim,40, were killed when their motorcycle was run over by a lorry in Jalan Loke Yew on May 23.

They have five children – Muhd Haikal, 16, Fatin Adlina, 14, Mohd Aidil, 10, Norsyamini, 4, and Nor Auni Safia,3. — Bernama
