SARIKEI: ‘C’ Company of Nyelong Park Methodist Church Boys’ Brigade is sending a 10-member strong contingent to participate in the 21st National Boys’ Brigade Festival to be held in Kampar, Perak from June 7 to 11.
The contingent, together with three officials left for Perak via Sibu yesterday.
Ting Yew Siang who led the group said that the contingent would participate in various activities drawn up for the grand opening ceremony on Saturday.
Among others, they would participate in foot drill event, Ting said.
Apart from local contingents there were others from countries like Thailand, Indonesia and Hong Kong taking part in the biennial event, he said, adding the previous festival was held in Johor Bahru in 2012.
