SIBU: Over 30 superbikers from Pemoda (Persatuan Motosikal Darussalam), Brunei and Razz Chopper MC of Sibu joined a convoy ride from Sibu to Kota Samarahan for the ‘4th Samarahan Bike Fest 2014’yesterday.
According to president of Razz Chopper MC, Abdul Razak Abdul Salam, they are giving Samarahan big bikers their full support just as they had supported them during their annual Sibu Bike Week
“So, it is our turn to deliver similar form of brotherhood spirit and support by joining their ‘4th Samarahan Bike Fest 2014’,” he said when met at Rafie Cafe’, Kampung Datu Commercial Centre before heading to Samarahan, yesterday.
The ‘4th Samarahan Bike Fest 2014’ is organised by Tegar Bikers on 14-15 June at the Summer Mall, Kota Samarahan.
The deputy president of Pemoda, Khairol Md Ya’akub was alo present.
The convoy’s journey from Sibu to Samarahan is headed by Razak .
It is attended by big bikers from throughout Borneo.
“It aims among others to further strengthen the brotherhood spirit among all the big bikers’ who have the same common interest of riding their favourite big bike from the different nations taking part in it.
“Besides that, it also serves as to promote and instill the safe riding culture especially in a convoy among every participating big bikers,” Razak added.
As for Razak, the event also sends a very strong message to all motorcylists regardless of their engine capacity throughout Sarawak that, they must practise the safe riding culture every time they are on the road.
