Talk on transforming school from low to high performer

MIRI: Teachers who wish to learn how to turn a low performing school into an excellent one should attend an interesting talk on July 5.

A former excellent principal and national exemplary teacher Phua Seng Tiong will share his experience on the subject `Turning a low performing school to an excellent one’.

Phua is a popular speaker, especially among the teachers and the teaching fraternity.

Christians teachers in particular, in and around Miri, should not miss the golden opportunity to get words of motivation from Phua who is also a church pastor.

The talk is one of the activities of a Teachers’ Day celebration organised by the Teachers’ Christian Fellowship Miri at Dynasty Hotel commencing at 6.30pm with the arrival of guests.

According to the Teachers’ Christian Fellowship Miri chairman Meechang Tuie, local country Gospel band `His Sparrows’ would perform at the function with songs and dances.

“Tickets are distributed through the various school representatives at RM50 each,” he said.
