KUCHING: KPJ Kuching Specialist Hospital held its Communities Programme in Kampung Sebayor Samarahan yesterday, as part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) towards the community in Sarawak.

While delivering medical services, KPJ Kuching Specialist Hospital is making an effort to promote a healthy lifestyle and awareness with the

community all over the state, according to its press release yesterday.

Among the activities conducted were free health screening, sharing information on health issues and also giving health awareness to the community.

“By actively contributing to the communities in whichever area we serve, we are able to build a better, sustainable and healthy lifestyle of society and raise the country’s health awareness,” said Rowena Cliffton, head of public relations and marketing of KPJ.

Village head Henry Sinyut, on behalf of all the committee members in Kampung Sebayor Samarahan, expressed his gratitude to Kuching Special Hospital and its staff in making the event a success and hoped it will be the first step to an ever beneficial relationship in the future.

Kuching Specialist Hospital looks forward to organising more of such activities in years to come as people are inspired to build a healthier nation by increasing public awareness on a healthy lifestyle.
