LABUAN: A wooden house was razed by a fire about two hours before the breaking of fast at Kampung Pantai here on Saturday.
Labuan Fire and Rescue Department spokesman Jason Bilin said yesterday that their operation centre received a distress call at 3.50pm.
“When we reached the scene, we found the house ablaze. We managed to extinguish and control the fire, and ended the operation at 4.47pm,” he said.
Bilin said the occupants of the house were not at home during the incident and they were still investigating the cause of the fire, while total loss has yet to be determined.
