KUCHING: St Paul’s Church, Bunuk, at Jalan Puncak Borneo here will hold its annual Parish Sale this coming Monday, the first day of Hari Raya, from 9am to 4pm.
Its organising chairman Lay Reader Henry Senok said the main objective of the sale is to raise funds for the church’s activities.
He noted that the bulk of the funds collected from the sales would be used to complete the ongoing priest quarters building project.
There will be between 15 and 20 stalls put up in and around the cathedral’s multi-purpose hall, selling a variety of homemade delicacies like pansuh, preserved meat and fish, laksa, lemang and jungle produce.
Lucky draw tickets will also be sold while karaoke singing competition and the inter-Sunday School mini-game competition will be held during the day.
“We hope the public especially church members under the parish’s jurisdiction will come to support the sale and also more importantly spend the day enjoying fellowship with one another,” Henry added.
