Awg Tengah happy with his staff’s good work ethics

KUCHING: Second Minister of Resource Planning and Environment Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan wants his staff to uphold their good work ethics to ensure all development plans continue to be implemented effectively.

Speaking at the ministry’s Hari Raya gathering at Pullman Hotel here yesterday, he said the ministry was doing well because the staff were cooperative and committed in their work.

“I want to congratulate all of you on your excellent performance. I hope all of you will continue give your best service and improve yourselves from time to time.

“This spirit should be taken to the next level to ensure all plans are implemented effectively.”

Awang Tengah said his office implemented projects based on set guidelines. For instance, land development policies do consider the environment. There are also guidelines for town planning.

“Our cities are planned well, and the fruits of our labour are for all to see.”

During the gathering, Awang Tengah presented Excellence Service Awards (APCs) to seven Ministry staff, while one staff who would be retiring soon was given a souvenir.

Present were Assistant Minister of Resource Planning Datuk Naroden Majais, Assistant Minister of Industrial Estate Development Datuk Peter Nansian Ngusie, Assistant Minister of Industrial Development (Investment and Promotion) Datuk Julaihi Narawi and Assistant Minister of Environment Datu Len Talif.
