MIRI: PAS Miri has been entrusted by PAS central leadership to host the coming Malaysia Day celebration.
PAS Sarawak deputy commissioner III cum PAS Miri chief, Jofri Jaraiee, said PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang would be invited to attend the gathering.
“The public are welcomed to attend as there would be activities for them, irrespective of race, religion, and political affiliation,” said Jofri.
He said, for instance, there would be a colouring competition for children and a running event for the public on Sept 14.
There would also be a convoy led by PAS leaders, donations to the less fortunate here, exhibition, and blood donation at MYY Mall Miri.
Jofri said the highlight of the Malaysia Day celebration would be the Pakatan Rakyat Malaysia Day dinner at Eastwood Valley Golf and Country Club on Sept 15, where Hadi is scheduled to speak.
