MIRI: Some 100 people took part in a charity event organised by Broadway Dance Studio dubbed ‘Zumba Fitness Master Class’ at Sunflower Centre recently.

Principal of the dance studio, Helen Lai, said the two-hour event was the dance studio’s first charity event.
“We were delighted many people came forward to support this event. Thanks to the participants for helping us achieve the objective of the event,” she said.
Among the Zumba instructors who took part were Julito, Michael, Mimi, Terri, Mandy, Jenny and Yong Yong Kiik.
The organiser had pledged to donate 50 per cent of the proceeds from the admission fees to Sunflower Centre.
Meanwhile, Broadway Dance Studio will be having regular Zumba classes at the same venue from Oct 20.
The admission fee is RM8 per class per person, and 20 per cent would be donated to Sunflower Centre.
This one-hour class would be conducted on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays (5.30pm to 6.30pm and 7pm to 8pm). On Wednesdays and Fridays, it will be from 7pm to 8pm.
Those interested are welcomed to join on any given day and time.
