A Civil Defence Department staff member attends to an injured motorcyclist, who was found sprawled along Jalan Lapangan Terbang in Kuching yesterday. Passing motorists spotted the victim lying next to his damaged bike in the middle of the road – currently undergoing upgrading work – around 4.30am and promptly called for an ambulance. It was unclear if the motorcyclist, who was treated at the Sarawak General Hospital, crashed on his own or was a victim of a hit-and-run.
