On Wednesday, Julaihi, together with the task force committee of Land and Survey Department, Samarahan Resident office, Samarahan District Council, Public Works Department (JKR), and Drainage and Irrigation Department, among others, visited the identified project sites.

“Today’s (Wednesday) visit is to let committee members of the various villages know about the projects that the state government has approved for them and which are to be implemented this year,” the Assistant Minister of Rural Development said.

He added that all the committees will be informed from time to time about the coming projects.

“The 13 projects are only part of the government’s effort to transform the rural areas and there are other projects to come,” Julaihi said, adding that he wants all the projects to be implemented and completed this year and he has instructed the task force committees to start working on them immediately.
