KUCHING: Sarawak Forestry Corporation (SFC) confirmed via sms that the strange creature in the pictures and the video that have gone viral today was a sun bear with skin disease, explaining that its presence at the plantation could be due to its habitat nearby being flooded.
SFC has deployed its Swift Wildlife Action Team (SWAT) for further investigation and will be issuing an official statement later today.
