KUCHING: The annual Reach Out Convention and Celebration by iM4U is geared to become an effective platform to rope in new volunteers due to the programme’s overwhelming response.

According to iM4U chief operating officer (COO) Azlan Rudy Malik, by becoming a volunteer for iM4U, youths will be able to contribute ideas and feedback to make a change in their community.

He was speaking to the media on the sidelines of the programme held at Kuching Polytechnic in Matang near here yesterday.

Meanwhile, several activities were held throughout the programme, including a talk by Skate4 Cancer Foundation founder Rob Dyer.

Speaking to hundreds of students in the packed hall, Rob shared his experience on how his skating hobby led to the establishment of the foundation.

Professional entertainer Scott Hammell – who is also a holder of four Guinness World Records – Corporate Coach Academy graduate Freda Liu and entrepreneur Eizaz Azhar also spoke.

Besides the talks, the programme also included a live concert which featured local and international artists like Vince Chong, DJ Fuzz, Wariz, Iwere and Mark Adam, Altimet, Jrod Twins, Jason D Chen and David Choi.

To make it even more exciting, some 60 lucky participants were chosen for the exclusive meet and greet session with the artists.
