MSU President’s List award celebrates students’ excellence

SHAH ALAM: Management & Science University (MSU) recently held a special ceremony, the President’s List award, as a form of appreciating students’ excellent achievement for the academic year 2013 and 2014.

The ceremony was also to instil a culture of excellence among achievers and it was hoped that the award would further motivate the students to be more aggressive in pursuing competitiveness.

A total of 158 students received the award based on their Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.75 and above, which they garnered from three consecutive semesters. It was an improvement from the 127 achievers of the 2012 and 2013 session.

Award receivers were from the Business Management & Professional Studies, Health & Life Sciences, Information Sciences & Engineering, International Medical School, School of Pharmacy, School of Education & Social Sciences, and School of Hospitality & Creative Arts.

MSU president Prof Tan Sri Dato Wira, Dr Mohd Shukri Ab. Yajid, MSU Vice Chancellor Professor Puan Sri Dato’ Dr Junainah Abd Hamid, deans, senior management officers, and students’ parents were present at the ceremony.
