HM congratulatory message to Kuwait

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam has sent congratulatory messages to His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Amir of the State of Kuwait, and His Highness Sheikh Jaber Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Prime Minister of the State of Kuwait, the royal family and the government and people of the State of Kuwait on the occasion of Kuwait’s National Day, ©BRUDIRECT.COM reported.

The message to His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah stated that His Majesty very much valued the close friendship and cooperation shared between the two countries and peoples.

His Majesty looked forward to continuing to work together with His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah to strengthen these important ties in the year ahead.

His Majesty also congratulated His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on receiving the United Nations Humanitarian Leadership Award in New York last year.

The message to His Highness Sheikh Jaber Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah stated that His Majesty greatly appreciated the longstanding ties and cooperation enjoyed by the two countries and looked forward to many opportunities to strengthen these much-valued relations in the coming year.

In ending the message, His Majesty prayed that Allah the Almighty bless His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness Sheikh Jaber Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah with continued good health and happiness and the people of the State of Kuwait with progress and prosperity.

His Royal Highness Prince Mohamed Bolkiah, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, also sent a congratulatory message to Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Kuwait.

His Royal Highness said, “It gives me great pleasure to send my deepest respects to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, together with my warmest congratulations to you and to the government and people of the State of Kuwait on your National Day.

“I look forward to the pleasure of continuing our work together to strengthen our countries’ friendship and cooperation and I wish you every success in your preparations for hosting the 42nd Session of the Council of Foreign Ministers’ Meeting in May this year.

“With my kindest regards to you and your family and my very best wishes for good health, happiness and prosperity of the Kuwaiti people.”
