SIBU: The Lions Club of Sibu Seduan gave 100kg of aluminum can tabs to the Prosthesis Foundation of the HRH the Princess Mother of Thailand and 20kg of the same to the Leo Club of SMK Subang Jaya, Kuala Lumpur.
The aluminum tabs can be converted into raw material for making artificial limbs.
The club had embarked on a campaign to help collect the tabs.
Campaign organising chairman Rali Wong recently handed over the 20kg donation to the 1st vice president of SMK Subang Jaya Leo Club, Yuki Ling.
The handing-over was held at the Chinese New Year open house hosted by Lions Club of Sibu Seduan president Major (Hon) David Ling.
