MIRI: It has been slightly over a year since the Malaysia Airlines (MAS) flight MH370 was reported missing, but the sorrow and anguish felt by those directly affected by the incident remain.

The aircraft, which was bound for Beijing, disappeared off the radar just hours after take-off at Kuala Lumpur International Airport on March 8 last year.

Till today, nobody has any clues as to what happened to the flight and all 239 people on board.

Members of the local PKR Youth share the sadness surrounding the mystery of MH370, adding that they too are affected by incident.

“We feel the pain felt by the families, despite none of us is connected to anyone on board that ill-fated Boeing 777 jet. The very thought of the fate befalling the flight and its 239 is a ‘bitter pill to swallow’.

“We want to share a moment of solidarity of the affected families and relatives during these trying times,” Miri PKR Youth chief Steve Teo told The Borneo Post yesterday.
