Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Adenan Satem (seated centre) pose with organising committee members of the Sarawak Chief Minister Borneo Cup International Taekwondo Championship (WTF) at his office at Wisma Bapa, Kuching yesterday. The entourage was led by Public Utilities (Electricity and Telecommunications) assistant minister who is also state taekwondo association advisor, Datuk Dr Stephen Rundi Utom. They briefed the chief minister on the tournament which will be held at Stadium Perpaduan, Kuching on Aug 22 and 23. Some 500 athletes from Korea, Vietnam, Brunei, Singapore, Thailand, Myanmar, the Philippines, Laos, Cambodia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Libya, Australia, China, India, Iran, Nepal, and Taiwan are expected to compete in the championship. — Penerangan photo
