SIBU: A 33-year-old woman is looking for her 13-year-old daughter who has gone missing since New Year’s Day.
Penny Lok said her daughter, Chelsea Ngalai, left their home at Rumah Achan Mile 12 KJD Road on Jan 1.
She received a telephone call from Chelsea four days later,
“She told me that she was working as a cleaner at a bank,” the mother said, adding that a fellow villager claimed to have seen Chelsea being picked up by a man.
Both have not been seen since.
Penny lodged two police reports – one on Jan 7 and another on March 25. Anyone who has information on Chelsea’s whereabouts should contact Sgt Bahram Suhaili on 010-7879771.
