The 4WD turned on its side after the collision.

MIRI: A brother and sister were amongst five people who survived a two-car crash at Km30 Jalan Miri-Bintulu, nearby Sungai Entulang junction, yesterday afternoon.

The incident reportedly occurred around 12 noon.

According to one of the victims when met by The Borneo Post at the scene, they were en route to
Long San Baram from Miri to celebrate Good Friday when their vehicle was hit from behind by another 4WD vehicle.

“Our 4WD (that they were travelling in) was airborne for almost five metres after the collision occurred before it
landed on the roadside and turned on its side,” added the male victim who wished to be anonymous.

His 28-year-old sister and two other male passengers were extricated from their 4WD by passers-by following the
incident. All injured victims
have been treated for their injuries at Miri hospital.

Meanwhile, the lone driver of the 4WD that rear-ended their vehicle escaped unharmed.
