KUCHING: Hollywood and Hong Kong superstar Datuk Jackie Chan will meet fans at the Old Courthouse tomorrow (Saturday, April 11) right after chairing a 20-minute press conference at 4pm.
Asean International Film Festival and Awards (Aiffa) festival director Livan Tajang confirmed that tomorrow’s session will be Chan’s only formal public appearance as he intends to spend his visit enjoying what Kuching has to offer.
Chan is scheduled to land at Kuching International Airport tonight at 8.30pm (Friday).
She also confirmed that Malaysia’s Hollywood movie star Tan Sri Michelle Yeoh will arrive tomorrow to join Chan and other guests for the Aiffa Gala Night at the Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK).
Over 60 celebrities from the 10 Asean countries, together with those from China and Korea are expected to attend the gala night.
Livan added that there would be live coverage of the Red Carpet Gala Nite live on TV1 from 7.30pm to 8pm and the awards ceremony on TV2 from 9pm.
