MIRI: The Miri Orchestra and Choir Society (MOC) will hold the ‘Melodies We Love’ concert on May 8.
Renowned local musician James Lau will conduct the concert at the Miri Civic Centre.
The full orchestra consisting over 50 musicians and the choir will present pieces from the musicals ‘The Phantom of the Opera’ and ‘Les Miserables’.
“All members have come together for months of hard work and practice for their harmonious performances. We hope their performance could help promote a better understanding and appreciation of music,” said a spokesman.
Tickets are priced at RM25, RM35 and RM50 each.
