SIBU: The body of a teenage boy who went missing after he fell into the Rajang River during a fishing trip on Tuesday was found yesterday near where he was last seen.
Villagers found the body of Lau Chiew Sieng, 19, around 1am.
Police later sent the body to Sibu Hospital for a post-mortem.
Lau had gone with a few friends to Kerto Island around 3pm on Tuesday and fell into the water while playing on a dry section of riverbed at low tide.
One of his friends grabbed him by the arm, but he slipped from his grip.
