MIRI: Police on late Sunday evening arrested four illegal immigrants from Bangladesh for allegedly trading in jungle produce in the Kuala Baram industrial area.

The four have been detained under police custody at Lutong police station for questioning, said Miri acting police chief Supt Stanley Jonathan Ringgit.

During the arrest made around 4.30pm, police also seized their goods.

According to sources, illegal immigrants have been using the spot to sell various items including jungle produce.
