KUCHING: Saratok MP Tan Sri William Mawan found time last weekend to bring cheer to his Muslim constituents in Kabong.

Mawan, who is also Social Development Minister and Pakan assemblyman, distributed government grants to several mosques and surau there on Saturday in conjunction with the holy month of Ramadan.

Accompanying the Parti Tenaga Rakyat Sarawak (Teras)
president were his wife Puan Sri Julia and several of his close aides including MPP councillor Udin Ali.

On Sunday Udin represented Mawan in distributing grants to mosques and surau at Saratok town because Mawan had to move on to Sarikei on official duty.
