KUALA LUMPUR: Chief Secretary to the Government Tan Sri Dr Ali Hamsa has advised civil servants not to be involved in actions which could taint the image of the civil service and affect order in the country.
On the other hand, they should give focus and be committed to improve the delivery of civil service to the people in line with the National Transformation Agenda, and not by being involved in such actions or activities.
In a statement here yesterday, Ali said he took a serious view of several recent developments in the country which could threaten public order and national security.
“This included reports following investigations by the Thai police that certain parties in the country were conspiring with foreign elements against the national leadership which could threaten the democratic process in the country.
“Such matters could threaten public order and national security as they are acts of treason,” he said. — Bernama
