MIRI: It is not an impossible dream to be part of a multi-national company for those with the right qualification.
Valerie Landan Klimbang, a Diploma in Business Studies graduate from Fajar International College (FIC), has proved it to young aspiring students.
Valerie has gained immediate employment with an oil and gas company here after she graduated in 2014. She now holds the post of recruitment coordinator, handling the flow of candidates through recruitment process, from scheduling interviews to bringing the new employees on board. Her other jobs include conducting test, screening and interviewing of potential employees, participating at job fairs and recruiting events and providing support in the company’s hiring needs.
“I am really thankful to Fajar, as its diplomas are recognised internationally thus enabling me to achieve what I have today,” she said. She advised her juniors to hold to their dreams as nothing was impossible in their path to build a successful career once they have graduated with good results.
