API levels for Samarahan, Kuching and Sri Aman still unhealthy


KUCHING: The air quality for Samarahan, Kuching and Sri Aman are still rated as unhealthy with Air Pollutant Index (API) readings at 145, 127 and 121 respectively as of noon today.

These three divisions were among the 15 areas listed on the website of Meterological Department for recording unhealthy levels of air quality.

Sarikei, Sibu, Bintulu and Kapit fell under the category of moderate, recording API readings between 51 and 100.

Areas in the state that showed low air pollution levels on health were Miri and Limbang.
