Police Chief: French woman not locked up

BANJARMASIN, South Kalimantan: South Kalimantan Regional Police Chief Brigjend Pol Agung Budi M stating that a woman foreign citizen (WNA) from France was not being held by a male friend, AntaranewsKalsel reported.

“The French woman and the man from Banjarmasin are lovers and they met through social media Facebook, so there is no confinement,” he said Monday.

He said the French woman named Amandie Theron was already handed over to the immigration authorities for deportation proceedings to her country.

“Her residence permit had expired, so we submit to the immigration and subsequently the authority of the agencies,” said the number one in the ranks of South Kalimantan Police.

Meanwhile, Head of Traffic and Stay Permit of Immigration Office here Andrya Arman said, immigration had received the deliverables of the women who is now undergoing examination.
