BINTULU: A gotong-royong involving around 50 volunteers sacrificed nine cows at the compound of the Al-Mustaqim Mosque at RPR Kidurong on Thursday.
RPR Kidurong community leader Ibrahim Edeni said four cows were sacrificed for korban, two for akikah, one was donated
by the Muslim Converts Secretariat and two others were donated by Bintulu Member of Parliament Datuk Seri Tiong King Sing.
“Today the sacrifice was carried out by imam Madaha Mohd Sunik around 10am at the compound of the mosque,” he said.
To facilitate the distribution of the meat from 3pm, coupons were distributed at RPR Kidurong Phase 1, 2, 3 and 4.
Ibrahim thanked all involved in the ceremony as well as those who donated the cows.
