KOTA KINABALU: An architect was found dead, believed due to a heart attack, in his room at a house in Kampung Dambai, Jalan Gudon in Menggatal here yesterday.
The body of Khung Chee Mong, 51, was found by his brother in the room around 9.15am.
City police chief ACP M. Chandra said police investigation revealed that both brothers were staying in the same house and the younger brother was out the whole day since Thursday.
“When the brother, 48, returned home around 9.15am, he found his brother’s room locked from inside and when he peeked through the window, he saw his brother sitting in front of the computer with his head on the table and unresponsive,” he said yesterday.
Chandra said police dismissed foul play as there was no criminal element found at the scene.
“Paramedic who arrived shortly at the scene confirmed the victim was dead and believed caused by a heart attack,” he said, adding that the body was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital for a post-mortem
Police classified the case as a sudden death.
