KUCHING: Keglers from all over the region have converged at the Megalanes Adventure World here to compete in the 29th Asian Intercity Bowling Championship from Nov 9-15.
Held for the first time in Sarawak, the tournament is expected to be officiated by state secretary Tan Sri Datuk Amar Dr Morshidi Abdul Ghani at the bowling centre today.
Competition will start on Nov 11 with the men’s and women’s singles from 8.30am followed by the men’s senior and women’s senior singles from 6.30pm.
The men’s and women’s doubles followed by men’s senior and women’s senior doubles will be on Nov 12.
Team events will take place on Nov 13 and Nov 14.
The women’s Masters finals and men’s Masters finals will commence from 6.30 and 8pm respectively on Nov 14.
Meanwhile, teams which arrived yesterday were given a tour of the city as well as a visit to the Sarawak Cultural Village.
