Kabilan, Samai for Sandakan fight

KUCHING: Sarawak fighter Kabilan Jelevan will see action at the Muaythai Dynamite NakSoo Asia Fight Tour which starts in Sandakan, Sabah today.

According to Sarawak Muaythai Association (PMNS), Bintulu-born Kabilan will take on Yusharmin Yusuff of Penang’s Gabungan Tiga Club in the 58kg pro fight.

State head coach Samai Intastri, who is from Thailand, will also join the fray.

He will face Saifullah from Kedah’s Sungai Petani Langkasuka Warrior Club.

Both Kabilan and Samai are representing local club, SS Fighters Muaythai Gym.

The Muaythai Dynamite NakSoo Asia Fight Tour is jointly organised by the Sandakan District Muaythai Association, Dynamite NakSoo Muaythai Australia and the Boxxtomoi Asia with the support of the Sabah Muaythai Association.

Malaysians fighters will have the opportunity to face contenders from Australia, France, Indonesia and Singapore for the Muaythai Sabah State President’s Cup and Sandakan Police Chief’s Cup.

Meanwhile, four women – one each from Australia, Indonesia, Singapore and Malaysia – will vie for the Dynamite NakSoo Asia Super Four Fight Tour Belt for Ladies (50kg).

The tournament venue is the Sandakan Sports Complex Hall.
