M-Girls will be making a special appearance at the concert.
KUCHING: Padawan Municipal Council (MPP), Batu Kawa MJC Owners’ Association and Tea FM will hold a concert to usher in the New Year at Batu Kawa New Township on Jan 8 from 7pm onwards.
MPP chairman Lo Khere Chiang is expected to officiate at the concert.
The concert will feature a special appearance from the group M-Girls from Peninsular Malaysia who will be promoting their new Chinese New Year album titled ‘New Year is Here’.
Other activities include dances and performances by local and peninsula entertainers.
Tea FM deejays will also be taking part by holding games and giving away freebies.
The main sponsor for the event is MJC City Development Sdn Bhd.
Entrance to the concert is free.
M-Girls is a group of four female singers from different states in the country who share a common love for singing.
They are Queenzy, Angeline, Cass and Crystal.
They are known for their Chinese New year albums and have become brand ambassadors for numerous brands.
