KOTA KINABALU: A man was charged in the Magistrate’s Court here yesterday with killing his friend at the car park in Kota Kinabalu International Airport here.
Mohd Ramzan Suhaimi, 23, who was brought before magistrate Cindy Mc Juce Balitus, faces a charge under Section 302 of the Penal Code, which carries the mandatory death sentence, upon conviction.
The accused, who was represented by counsel Aida Jaafar Mad Ariff, was alleged to have murdered 27-year-old Mohd Ali Baba Kirim Abdullah at the airport car park at 11.30pm on December 27, 2015.
The court fixed February 12 this year to re-mention the case and the accused will be further detained in custody, pending disposal of the case, as the alleged offence is non-bailable.
