SIBU: A mini carnival run by the Sarawak Federation of Women’s Institute (PPWS) Central Zone last Saturday not only gathered some 500 members, but also attracted residents from Kampung Bandong and the surrounding areas.

The ‘Women Walk the World’ programme at Kampung Nyabor Malay Union Club (MUC) hall here — a collaboration by the federation branches of Sibu, Sarikei and Kapit — hosted many activities such as a mass aerobics session, telematches, fundraising sale, dinner gathering and a walkathon.

Nangka assemblyman Dr Annuar Rapaee was also present, where he flagged off the ‘Women Walk the World’ walkathon.
