KUALA LUMPUR: Fraser & Neave Holdings Berhad (F&N) announced the appointment of Malaysia’s talented youth role model, Farah Ann as its brand ambassador for F&N Magnolia at SK Taman Megah recently.

At the event which was attended by over 1,000 students, parents and teachers, head of ‘Ready to Drink’ Milk, Van Toh Peng shared: “We are honoured to be working with Farah Ann as she is the epitome of positivity and determination; the same core values that F&N Magnolia stands for.”

Farah Ann who won six medals (including two gold) at the Southeast Asian Games 2015 in artistic gymnastics is currently preparing for the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.

“My personal motto has always been ‘Believe in Yourself’. I believe success comes from hard work with lots of discipline to stick to small habits every day. F&N Magnolia is a product that resonates well with me as milk has always been in my daily diet since young. I drink a glass every day to strengthen my body; it is a part of my daily routine,” Farah said.

“Clearly a role model, Farah has been inspiring young Malaysians with her strength and resilience in facing obstacles. Indeed, we were also thrilled to find out that Farah was recently recognised as the Person of the Year by a respected media.

The event kicked off on a high note with the Magnolia team performing a skit titled ‘Small Steps Inspire Great Moments’. Through the engaging storytelling session, the students whose age ranged from 7 to 12 years learned the importance of drinking milk daily to have a healthy body and mind to keep moving forward to achieve their dreams.

At the official signing ceremony yesterday, Lai Ming Kong (senior vice-president of Domestic Commercial Operations, F&N Malaysia) and Farah Ann inked the partnership, witnessed by Jauhar Munir (general manager of marketing), Van, Emily Lau and Yvonne Lam from F&N.

The signing ceremony was followed by a sharing session by Farah Ann, her mother, Kimberly Ann Gagnon and Van to provide a glimpse of Farah’s childhood and career journey.

Much to the delight of parents and students who attended the ceremony, Farah Ann took the stage with five young
gymnasts from SK Taman Megah to perform a creative gymnastic routine.

“I am so excited to be here today and I hope to be able to make a difference with the children I connect with today, in any small way possible,” Farah Ann said.
