SARIKEI : A motorcyclist was killed after he allegedly rammed into the side of a lorry exiting the junction at Jalan Durian going into Jalan Repok, about 1km from here at 9am yesterday.
The 20-something motorcyclist identified by a family member as Jan Pilin was said to be on his way to his workplace in the town area from his longhouse in Bulat.
Jan, who was on the main road, was said not able to avoid the collision as he did not expect the lorry to exit from the junction. He died due to multiple body injuries due to the impact of the collision.
The police are still investigating the case to determine the actual cause of the accident.
