UCTS organising charity concert, Info Day and Open Day

KUCHING: University College of Technology Sarawak (UCTS) is organising a charity concert ‘Membina Masa Depan Gemilang dan Penyayang’ in conjunction with UCTS Info Day in Kuching from March 25 to 27 and UCTS Open Day in Sibu from April 2 to 3.

Misha Omar, Noh Salleh, Eyza Bahra, Farah Farhana and Mojo are set to perform at CityONE Megamall in Kuching on March 26 and at UCTS campus in Sibu starting 7pm on April 2.

Apart from the free concert, the first 50 students who register with UCTS stand a chance to win a meet-and-greet session with these artistes the following day.

Students or parents can get direct consultation with UCTS consultant about programmes offered in UCTS at the booth available at the event.

There will be a 30 per cent rebate on tuition fees for all undergraduate programmes for this year and a foundation sponsorship worth RM4.2 million available for application.

Students out of Sarawak are also encouraged to apply for these programmes.

Several activities such as colouring contest, sand painting activities, busking performances, Fifa Games competition, dance performance and many more will be held to entertain the crowd.

In collaboration with Era FM Sarawak, UCTS is also taking the opportunity to give back to the community by organising a charity concert with seats sold to its partners and sponsors.

All funds will be channelled to Lembaga Kebajikan Anak-Anak Yatim Negeri Sarawak (Peryatim) Kuching, Sarawak Children’s Cancer Society (SCCS) Kuching, Rumah Seri Kenangan in Sibu, Lembaga Kebajikan Anak-Anak Yatim Negeri Sarawak (Peryatim) in Sibu, and Sibu Agape Centre.
