Awang Tengah hands over the donation and daily essentials to the family of the fire victims of Kampung Pahlawan on Sunday.
LIMBANG: Second Minister of Resource Planning and Environment Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan donated to fire victims in Kampung Pahlawan here during his one-day working visit to the District on Sunday.
He handed over a RM10,000 donation to the family of Yaho Ayah, 24, who lost their house, and RM3,000 to the family of Ahmad@Jalil Awg Bakir, whose house was damaged in the Saturday morning fire.
PBB Bukit Kota Youth and Skuad Bukit Kota also donated RM300 and RM200 worth of daily essentials respectively.
Present were Bukit Kota assemblyman Dr Abdul Rahman Ismail, Batu Danau assemblyman Paulus Palu Gumbang, Limbang Resident Maria Hasman, PBB Bukit Kota Youth chief and Limbang Walikota Sufian Mohat, Skuad Sayang chairperson Councillor Nonni Marlini Abdullah and Penghulu Abu Bakar Tinggal.
The 9.54am fire completely destroyed Yaho’s house, while the intense heat broke the windows of Ahmad’s house.
