KUALA LUMPUR: Samsung Malaysia Electronics (Samsung) Sdn Bhd is confident of strengthening its position as a leading brand with the launch of its new two-door RT7000 refrigerator.
Samsung head of consumer electronics Jimmy Tan Chee Wee said the RT7000 refrigerator with twin cooling plus technology caterd to different needs and lifestyles.
“There are 15 different models priced between RM1,669 and RM3,599 which will definitely suit the young and urban generation and newly-wed couples.
“We are confident of strengthening our position in the local refrigerator market as this product offers premium technology at an affordable price,” he told reporters after unveiling gn the launch, here today.
Tan said Samsung manufactured the RT7000 based on feedback received from its consumers.
“We spoke to home owners and realised that many yearned for a fridge that is versatile, energy-efficient and assures optimum freshness.
“Based on these insights, we took it upon ourselves to create the RT7000,” he said.
Tan said the RT7000 has an independent cooling system with two separate airflows to its respective compartments that prevented the cross-flow of odour, while maintaining the natural flavour of the food.
“It also features a smart conversion technology with five different modes for the fridge and freezer compartments where each compartment can be converted to have the same settings or a compartment could be completely idle.
“Owners will benefit by saving more energy, having more flexibility in space usage and more control of their refrigerator,” he added. — Bernama
