SIBU: University College of Technology Sarawak (UCTS) is offering the public the chance to win prizes during its open days this weekend.
Today, events will be held from 8am to 10pm, while on Sunday they will run from 8am to 2pm.
Activities include a colouring contest, sand painting, buskers, auto show, Dota competition, blood drive, free health screening, cat competition, wall climbing and Zumba.
There will be a direct application counter for those wanting to apply for the April intake for degree and foundation courses.
Applicants are encouraged to bring along their academic results, photocopy of MyKad and other relevant documents.
Companies that will be at the career zone include Premier Hotel, Rimbunan Sawit Holdings Sdn Bhd, and SS Super Save (Sibu) Sdn Bhd, while the Labour Department will set up booths for walk-in job interviews.
Mojo, Farah Farhanah, Eyza Bahra, Altimet and Misha Omar will perform during the UCTS Era Charity Concert with proceeds to go to the Sarawak Orphans Welfare Organisation (Peryatim) Kuching, Sarawak Children’s Cancer Society (SCCS) Kuching, Rumah Seri Kenangan Sibu, Peryatim Sibu and Sibu Agape Centre.
